Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter, born July 23rd 1970 was an American actress. She was Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also appeared in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>

 



 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas, Nevada the daughter of Christine the bird sanctuary worker, and Don Carpenter, a salesman. Carpenter is from Spanish (from her maternal grandmother), French, German and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She was also part of a song and dance troupe that was throughout the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was nine years old.

 



 

  Carpenter She moved her family from Rosarito Beach, Baja California to Mexico at the age of 15 years old. After that, they relocated to San Diego to California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter traveled around Europe following her graduation. Carpenter returned to San Diego and worked in the video store, as an aerobics teacher, and property management. In 1991, she played cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers. In 1992, she moved from San Diego to Los Angeles.

 



 

  Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist was a raped victim who assaulted her and two male companions as she was swimming in San Diego in the year 1991. He attempted to control them with a gunpoint. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her friends were shot in the struggle. Both were able to escape. Hubbard was arrested and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a series of rapes. Carpenter removed Hubbard's flashlight a flashlight that was issued by the police, off the beach. The flashlight was left on the beach. The flashlight proved to be a crucial piece of evidence against Hubbard.

 



 

  Carpenter was listed as No. 31 on the AskMen's top 99 Most Wanted Women 2002[30[30.] as well as No. 44 on their list for 2005. Carpenter claimed that she didn't think of herself as a sex icon despite this. Carpenter was featured on the cover as well as in an unisexual photo spread over ten pages of the June 2004 issue of Playboy magazine. When approached by People magazine in 2005 whether she would ever pose for Playboy again, she replied, "I don't know. I joined Playboy for a very specific reason. It was a wise financial decision. I also felt it was the right choice for me. Following the birth of my son, I had gained 50 lbs in pregnancy. I was determined to return to my previous self. I wanted to be attractive and sexy. I was thinking: "What if you went all out?"
